I received the 4 height adjusters ok but cannot figure out how to take out the roller feet in order to insert the height adjusters. AND as i am 5'8" with long legs, i am now not sure these will be high enough? When i was originally researching the balance ball SOMEBODY was offering 10cm adjusters?
The adjusters use a bayonet push/pull type fitting. To remove the existing castors I would suggest removing the ball, turning the base upside down and then pulling each castor really hard until it pops out. If necessary put your foot on the base to provide extra leverage.
Installation is the reverse of above involving a firm push ( or even whack) to fit.
With regards to height, we've not had a complaint yet that these are of insufficient height. We've not seen the 10cm height adjusters but I would imagine at 5'8" these should not be necessary. 6'5" would be more the height, I would suggest where these would be considered
Are these height extenders sturdy?
They are made of plastic but they are fairly sturdy.
Are they easy to install?
Yes, they are very easy to install, they fit perfectly into the ball chair frame.
Do the eight adjusters work for balance ball chairs with 55cm balls?
The Office Fitness Height Adjusters are not suitable for 55 cm Ball Chair model, they are applicable only to Adjustable Seat Back chairs and NO backrest models
